Stability Yachts introduces the
2010 Stability 66 Luxury Model, with an un-paralleled level of
comfort and stability coupled with Catamaran hull performance. Our
hybrid SWATH
design is a combination of military technology and luxury. You now have
a yacht
design that opens up the potential for yacht ownership to 90% of the
population
who get seasick, according to the latest CDC estimates.
This is more than just
another fancy catamaran. It is a
hybrid vessel that transforms from wave piercing catamaran to SWATH in
a matter
of minutes. The lower twin hulls submerge making the vessel as
seaworthy as a
much larger vessel. At this point since the lower twin hulls are now
under
water, waves can easily pass through the hull limiting side to side
jarring and
dangerous upward motion.
On the other hand, if there
are light seas, you can raise
the hull to mere 18-inch draft, somewhat unheard of in any catamaran or
mono
hull designs. At the same time, the boat is very light making it
fuel-efficient. Stability 66 can cruise at a mere at 8 mph getting 3
mpg or 20
mph getting 1.8 mpg.
Want to go somewhere quicker?
It tops out around 30 mph. The
efficiency of the vessel will allow for future solar power add on
option to the
existing diesel powered configuration.
What's the use of having a luxury interior, if the seas
around you are rough? Stability 66 can please the yachtsman and his
seasick
clients, friends and family. This 930 sq ft interior allows for three
large
staterooms, a spacious salon with an adjacent fully equipped dine-in
galley
that has generous pantry and storage areas and wall-to-wall glass
windows for a
beautiful panorama. The state-of-the-art helm station has docking
visibility
via the P&S integrated wing stations; these glare free viewing
areas allow
the captain to lean outboard to guide his approach and proximity to the
dock.
It also has a 240 sq ft upper sun deck, a perfect setting and ideal
place to
have the best sky bar for a one of a kind exceptional party.
To enable everyone to meet sea challenges with dignity and
ease; the designers placed a full width elevator at the stern. This
elevator
goes two feet below the water allowing a full gear diver or the
disabled to
float on to the elevator. The elevator docks effortlessly by lowering
the
elevator to dock level. Loading supplies and
boarding from other vessels also becomes effortless.
There are presently no other
SWATH type motor yachts offered
anywhere in the world, this is the first ever with its hybrid hull form
and
modern styling. Unlike most new hull ideas this one is already built,
full size
and offering prospective clients a walk-on experience to backup the
truth in
its advertising. Also a significant styling effort was made to meet the
expectation of the sophisticated yacht market clientele.
The designers unveiled the
cutting edge capabilities of his
hull design by skimming
across
the flats. Besides the stability it offers, you can take this yacht
just about
anywhere on the water. Imagine how this liberates you: you can be a lot
more
relaxed while operating the vessel since you don't have to worry about
running
aground if you stray slightly from a charted course or the channel. You
can
also ignore crab traps while cruising, their are
no propellers for them to foul. You can beach the vessel and
let your guests enjoy their own private resort. The design offers shade
for
your passengers in the water, whenever they want it."
Stability 66 award winning designer David Carambat has
outlined a stylish superstructure with spacious interior and flowing
exterior
lines. Carambat said "These wide multi-hull yachts always present a
design
challenge to create a sleek profile. However, in the Stability 66, I
believe we
have achieved a yacht look to complement the trend setting innovation
of the
SWATH hull and I’m also enthusiastic that the Stability 66 promises to
open up
the boating world to more complete family voyages.” The seasoned boater
and
avid fisherman stated, "No one has to stay at home or risk feeling
uncomfortable.”
Marco Capparelli Infopreneur
and Web-Master has recently
joined Stability Yachts. Capparelli has been focusing on yachts sales
potential
using the Internet for the past 10 years. He said, “This
is one of the most innovative hybrid hull designs of the
past
century, and well ready for
the
future of boat designs for the 21st century. This boat will accommodate 365 days a year of pure
fun and joy, on any given sea around the world and without any
compromises.”
Our motto is: Don't just own
a Yacht. Rule the seas.
